''My first skateboarding picture with a girl. Mathilde Pigeon in the beginning of the 2000's.
Later Mathilde founded one of the first girl skateboard crew, the Skirtboarders and when I started Exposé Mag in 2003, Mathilde was in charge of the Chick Flip section of the mag, a section dedicated to the female skateboarders of the time. Of what I know, no other mag had ever dedicated a few pages of each issue to the female skateboarding scene, which was quite small at the time.'' - Dan Mathieu
